The biggest surprise took place in Puntarenas where host Pelicans FC (8-1) edged league's leader Metropoli (5-4) 72-70 on Wednesday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Metropoli. Pelicans FC have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 8-1 record which they share with defeated Metropoli. Metropoli at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost. They share it with Limon Sh. and Escazu. They were replaced at the leadership position by Escazu. Metropoli will play next round against Jaguares trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Pelicans FC will try to continue on its current victory against fourth ranked Grecia on the road.
Fifth ranked Jaguares (3-6) saved a 2-point victory at home edging second-ranked ARBA (6-3) 93-91 on Wednesday evening. Jaguares maintains fifth place with 3-6 record. ARBA lost their third game in a row. They keep the second position with three games lost. Jaguares will play against league's second-placed Metropoli in Cartago in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. ARBA will have a break next round.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from San Jose: Abogados (#4) and Roswell (#3). Abogados (5-5) crushed visiting Roswell (4-6) by 27 points 96-69. Abogados maintains fourth place with 5-5 record. Loser Roswell keeps the third position with six games lost. Abogados will meet higher ranked Limon Sh. (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Roswell's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from San Jose Escazu.

In the last game of round 11 Limon Sh. defeated Grecia in a road game 75-67.



Grecia - Limon Sh. 67-75

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 4th placed Grecia's (1-9) home loss to third ranked Limon Sh. (5-4) 67-75 on Tuesday. Limon Sh. keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Escazu and Metropoli. Grecia lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the fourth place with nine games lost. Limon Sh. will meet at home Abogados (#4) in the next round. Grecia will play against the league's leader Pelicans FC and hope to win that game.
